Introduction To Roll For Your Life Candyman! Board Game

Roll For Your Life Candyman Board Game is a unique twist on dice rolling games. Instead of taking turns you’re all rolling simultaneously. The game is also short making it the perfect filler game. Check out our Overview below to get a glimpse of this fun family game.

Setup

Each player assembles their candyman with these

• A Head Piece
• Two Leg Pieces
• Two Arm Pieces
• 1 Body Piece
• 1 Weapon
• Speech Bubble
• 4 Dice Of The Same Color
• Candy Corn Daggers
• Candy Crown For The Winner
• Special Treats For The Numbers Of Players +1
• And A plastic candy cane at the center of the table.

How To Play

When the host says GO! each player takes their 4 dice and rolls it; they can keep rerolling it until they reach 4 matching dice of the same icon. Once it is achieved they grab the plastic candy cane and say stop. Everyone stops rolling their dice during this process. If you roll 4 gloves, remove any arm from another player. If you roll boots remove any legs from another player If you 4 peppermint swirls you can do one of the following actions:

• Take a special treat and block any body part with it.
• Remove a special treat from an enemy’s gingerbread man.
• Remove a head or body however they must have no limbs remaining.

Additional Rules

SWEET!: If you roll 4 of the same symbol on your first role say sweet and you may count is as a wild

FOUL!: If you grabbed the candy cane but for some reason cannot do the action listed you must remove 1 body part from your gingerbread man. 

Game End: The game ends when 3 rounds have passed and whoever has the highest score wins.

Experience

Our family had a blast playing this. It has that somewhat chaotic but intense feel to it. Some aspects made it feel like a video game with you being able to choose your candy canes body pieces and speech bubble text. It always was so exciting getting 4 of a kind on your first roll and taking the candy cane. Another cool aspect we really liked was taking a candy cane from a player who rolled 4 of a kind first. We had a really fun experience with this game overall and could see playing it again as a quick filler game.

Overall Score

We really enjoyed  playing the Roll For Your Life Candyman Board Game and it’s short enough to be a filler game to play, however it could get repetitive playing it a lot due to it having no strategy. However it does come back with its uniqueness and how intense the game can get at times. Overall I rate this game a 8/10 .
