Check out the unboxing of the Mistborn House War Board Game by Crafty Games. This game is for 3-5 players – ages 13+. Standard game play is approximately 60-120 minutes. Mistborn House War is a resource management game based on the the first Mistborn novel. Player work together to solve problems and must use resources to gain favors from the Lord Ruler.
The faction determines what resources each players produce each round. Resources include; food, money, prestige, skaa, warriors, and atium. And players have the option to convert resources to a different one that they be missing. The game ends when either the unrest reaches 8 or the Vin problem card is resolved.
The winner is determined on how the game ends. If the game ends due to unrest reaching 8, the player with the least favor wins. Otherwise, the player with the most favor wins. Players can help raise the unrest, especially if they are lowest in Favor. This makes the game more unpredictable and a very strategic take that hand management game .
