Long Shot the Dice Game Playthrough

Check out the Playthrough of the Long Shot the Dice Game by Perplext. This game is for 1-8 players – ages 14+. Standard game play is approximately 25 minutes.

Long Shot the Dice Game is a fun push your luck game where players buy horses, place bets, and use special abilities to try to get their horse across the finish line first. The top three horses earn the owner money that adds to their final scoring. The player that makes the most money wins.

The core game mechanics are betting, bluffing, racing, and roll & write. The game is luck based with dice rolls, however, players can use horse abilities and wilds to manipulate the positions of both their own and opponents horses. This allows for some strategic moments for the players falling behind to catch up and possibly win.

We played a three player game that was intensely fun, with some randomness, and several paths to victory. There are several ways to earn point in this game other than having the winning horse.

The components are high quality and the cards are thick with vibrant illustrations that erase easily. Overall, Long Shot the Dice Game is an amazing roll & write filler game that is a must have for your game collection.
