Cursed Court is a fun bidding, bluffing game where players are trying to use deduction to guess which characters will appear in the court and bet on the sequences. Each sequence scores based on the number of characters included in a sequence, I.E., one point per character. The player with the most points wins.
In Cursed Court the players each have knowledge of two of the cards that will appear in the court that season. The remaining cards are hidden and will be revealed at the end of each season. This game is played over three years. Players have four opportunities each year (seasons) to wager their crowns on the winning sequences. You can outbid your opponents and knock them off a sequence by doubling the amount of chips they placed. The way to lock in your bet is to bet more than 50% of the remaining chips any other player possesses. Each players starts with 20 chips and must ration those over 4 seasons.
Each season begins with a face-up card and a hidden card between each pair of players, Two players will each have knowledge of the same card. So in a three player game each player will not know what one of the hidden cards is. They will then use that knowledge to place wagers.
Each year starts over with each player gathering their crowns and chips then four new seasons are played until the three years have passed or 12 seasons.
