Canopy is a card drafting, set collection game where players are competing to grow the most bountiful rainforest. Players choose cards from growth piles to add to their rainforest; choosing wildlife, trees and plants to place in strategic sets and gain the most points. Being careful to not get too many dangers such as fire, drought, and disease cards.
Additionally, there are seed cards that allow you to add more cards to your rainforest at the end of the round. Plus, wildlife cards have special abilities to give players an advantage either during the round or end of game. There are so many ways to earn points in the game and a few take that abilities to add to the fun.
This is a great family game and very easy to learn. The card and components are gorgeous and high quality. We had a great time playing Canopy and will definitely be bringing out on the table again soon. If you enjoy card drafting point salad games you will truly enjoy the Canopy card game.
